Ideally, drink water and all liquids in between meals, i.e.; ½ hour before and 2 hours after as cool fluids cool the digestive juices and all liquids dilute them. E.g. 4 to 6 oz. Every ½ hour in between meals.
Rx:
Drink one ounce of water for every two pounds of body weight. EXAMPLE: 114 pounds of body weight divided by 2 = 57 ounces of water 57 ounces of water divided by 8 oz. Drinking glass = 7.3 glasses per day.
PLUS: One ounce of water for each ounce of coffee, cafinated drink or alcohol.
EXAMPLE: For each 8 oz. Coffee mug, add 8 oz. Of water = 8.3 8oz. Glasses of water per day. Drink one 8 oz. Glass of water first thing in the morning before coffee.
